Socceroos star, Lucas Neill has praised the large numbers of Socceroos fans who have flooded into the stadiums to cheer on the team.
"To win, the socceroos are going to have to perform at their peak. In the World Cup, it was definitely the voice and the passion of the fans that pushed us to perform at a higher level". Australia, currently ranked 48 in the World are well aware of their ability to perform as a team for the big stage and to take on nations placed in the Top 20. With a growing fan-base, the Socceroos are on the upward path in the Asian Cup and in the coming years.
