Socceroo Tim Cahill, after being substituted on to the field late in the match, has saved the day yet again for Australia. After a tough opening period, the Socceroos found themselves trailing Oman 1-0.
Schwarzer kept the Aussies in the game as Oman penetrated the defence setting up many chances to seal the game. The crowd must have felt a sence of Deja Vu when Tim Cahill scored in injury time to bring the score to 1-1. Cahill has now got his name written in history as Australia's first-ever goal scorer in both the World Cup and the Asian Cup. Australia play Iraq on Friday in what is set to be a tight match.
